As recently as last year, there was no Chipotle Restaurant in my hometown, Dover, Delaware. Life was nasty, brutish and short. Then, it happened. Denny's went out of business. Space was available... but, what was coming? Chipotle? I'd heard of it, but, it was just another chain restaurant, right?

Wrong!!!

Soon enough, the Denny's was gone, and the new building was up. Barely a quarter of the building was devoted to Chipotle. Finally, it was done. And opened. I  didn't rush right in becuase I was in a state of ignorance at that time. Finally, I decided to try it out.
That first day was a day like any other, then, I went in. The line seemed to move quickly and soon it was my turn to choose. But, I had no idea what to order, so, I winged it. Thus started the dance we all love:
"Hi, what can I get you?"
"Uhhhh... I'll have the burrito bowl please"
The cilantro rice went in first then:
"Black beans or Pinto?"
Uh... "Black beans, please"
"Chicken, steak, carnitas or pork?"
"Chicken"
"Mild, medium or hot?"
This was tough.. having no reference, I went with "Medium"
"Sour Cream or guacamole?"
"I'll take the corn, cheese and lettuce please"
"Chips and a drink?"
"Small Drink please"
I paid for it, got my diet soda, then went to my industrial seating and took a bite.

Halleluah!

And thus, my new obsession.
