It seems everyone has their "Go To" meal at each restaurant they go to. When I go to the Vietnamese place, it's 2 fresh spring rolls and a small shrimp fried rice. When I go to Rice Restaurant on Rt 8, it's the Shrimp and Chicken in Hunan Sauce Lunch combo, at the La Tonalteca, it's the Speedy with beans.
My usual at Chipotle = Burrito Bowl, with black beans, chicken, hot sauce, corn salsa, lettuce and cheese. Cheese is optional based on how I'm feeling about calories that day as it adds 100 calories to the lunch. I figured it out, it's about 670 calories for the usual, with cheese. That's just fine for lunch. I've never had the burrito shell as it adds 300 calories as I recall! Yikes! Chips are now on the "Only order when you can share it with others" list as they are like 570 calories for the bag, which equals the entire rest of the meal!
I need to see if I can figure out how to put a spreadsheet in each post, like across the bottom or something. Gonna have to check Google docs and see if that's possible!
In the mean time, here's a Calorie breakdown of "The Usual"
Ingredient Calories
Cilantro Rice (key to the goodness of Chipotle!) 130
Black Beans 120
Chicken 190
Hot Sauce 40
Corn Salsa 80
Cheese 100
Lettuce 10
Total: 670 Calories!
